How Catalyst Works
One team member brings a goal to their AI Wingman. It works the problem with colleagues' approved expertise, ships the tasks, tools, and dashboards, hands the watching to an AI Employee — and the approved solve makes every teammate's Wingman better.
Here's the loop, end to end, on a real solve.
1 · Bring a goal
Emma, a product growth leader, types one sentence: "I'd like to improve paid subscriptions from 18% to 20%." That's the entire setup. A conversation opens, and everything else grows out of it.
2 · The Wingman works it — with your company's own expertise
It starts from how this company measures the goal: "Conversion Metric — taught by Mark, Growth" arrives from the Company Brain, cited to Mark, and the numbers get run — 18.2% of free users convert. Emma steers in plain language, and each step lands on more approved expertise: Sara's design system frames the funnel walk, David's free-tier data sizes the opportunity. Where the brain has nothing, the Wingman asks Emma — it never guesses. That's the trust chain at work.
3 · Work ships, with owners
Emma says go. The plan becomes Jira tasks first, each with a named owner: the MoEngage campaign (Wingman), template approval (Nina, Marketing), the discount API (Alex, PM). Then the collaboration that makes Wingmen different: Nina's Wingman and Alex's Wingman do their parts — template approved, API scheduled — and report back into Emma's conversation in their own words.
4 · Tools go live — no engineering queue
The team needs to see the campaign working, so the Wingman builds the dashboard in the conversation: wired to company data, access-controlled, live at the team's own domain. What used to be a ticket in someone else's backlog is a message in a thread.
5 · An AI Employee takes the watch
Watching the campaign is repeatable work with a proven procedure behind it — so the Wingman spawns a Campaign Monitor AI Employee: it checks conversion and redemptions daily and reports what's working and what isn't. A week later the report reads: API live, campaign live, conversion at 19.4% and climbing.
6 · The solve joins the Company Brain
The Wingman asks one question: "Want me to add this to the Company Brain as approved expertise?" Emma approves — and the Paid Conversion Playbook — by Emma joins the brain. Every teammate's Wingman has it from that moment. The next growth question, anywhere in the company, starts from her solve — cited back to her.
Solve it once. Every team member gets better.
Meanwhile, in Slack
Anyone can ask the Company Brain directly. "Did paid subscriptions actually move this week?" gets the number, the source, and the mark — High confidence · From Emma's Paid Conversion solve. Questions that outgrow the expertise pull the right human in; AI Employees post their alerts in the same threads.
